HARVEY Price celebrated turning 19 last week with a surprise party at his residential school which included a train-themed cake.
Mum Katie, 42, was “so excited” for her oldest sons birthday and planned the celebratory bash for him, turning up at his school as a surprise.
Harvey, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, lives in residential care as he works towards transitioning to a college.
Having tuned 19 on May 27, mum-of-five Katie pulled out all the stops for his big day, including two specially designed cakes.
She filmed her sons reaction to an incredible three-tier frog cake on his birthday, as well as ordering a train cake for the party at his school.
The green cake was moulded into a hill with a train tunnel and a moving train carriage coming through the middle, as well as a paper station.
A source exclusively told The Sun of the surprise party: “Katie was so excited about Harvey turning 19, and wanted to surprise him.
“She’s planning another big celebration this weekend but went down to his school to give him a specially made cake.”
Katie’s rep confirmed the family’s plans for this weekend, saying: “Katie has something special planned with Carl and all the children.”
Cake designer Becci shared the image of the train cake on her Instagram, writing: “What an absolute pleasure it was to make the amazing Harvey Price’s 19th birthday cake.”
On Harvey’s birthday, Katie gushed over her oldest son in a video montage of sweet photos of the pair together from over the years.
She captioned the heartfelt post: “Happy Birthday to my absolute world Harvey on his 19th birthday. No matter what situation I’ve been in he has been there for me and kept me going.”
Katie added of her close-knit relationship with Harvey: “We are a team. I love you so much Harvey.”
The proud mum also showed a sweet video of Harvey reacting to a frog cake she treated him to on FaceTime.
As the former glamour model showed Harvey the carrot cake, the teen immediately started to sequel with excitement.
Katie recently starred in a BBC documentary about raising Harvey and moved viewers to tears with their special bond.
The teen has Septic Optic Dysplasia meaning he has complex hormone dysfunctions in the brain and is also partially blind and on the autistic spectrum.
The star said of her son: “Together we have built our private world, a bond between mother and son which goes deeper than most – we are unbreakable.”
Katie opened up about 29st Harvey‘s weight gain last year.
His obsession with food is linked to his disabilities — which make him always feels hungry.
She has been forced to padlock the family fridge to stop him stealing frozen pizzas out of the freezer and eating them raw, and also has to lock the kitchen cupboards.
Doctors have warned that the battle to keep Harvey alive is “critical” — as he could drop dead from a heart attack if he doesn’t lose weight urgently.
Katie has transformed a room in her fiance Carl Woods’ house into a gym for Harvey to exercise – and recently bought him a brand new bed in her Mucky Mansion.
The teen also suffers from behavioural problems and his mum said last year: “I’ve had to re-plaster my walls.”
She explained Harvey breaks holes in the wall with his head and ‘smashes things’ if she stops him from eating.
Katie added: “It’s a cruel and horrible illness where he feels hungry all the time — and if he doesn’t get food he gets angry. It’s hard work.”
