Inside Gordon Ramsay's three £11m Cornwall holiday homes as family anger locals

Gordon Ramsay has three Cornwall holiday homes which amount to £11million.

His family have retreated to their £4million beachside mansion as they wait out isolation amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

They have swapped London’s cityscape for the stunning beach views at their lavish home in Trebetherick, close to Daymer Bay.

Gordon and his wife Tana have been living comfortably in the six-bedroom home with their children Meghan, 21, twins Holly and Jack, 20, Tilly, 17 and baby Oscar, one.

It’s a fitting home for a celebrity chef with its two generously sized kitchens.

The chef has moaned he has spent most of his time holed up in the kitchen where he has been cooking non-stop for his five children.

But it’s not as bad as it sounds as the open-plan kitchen features waterfront views and a gorgeous teal green breakfast bar.

When they’re not snacking on Gordon’s food, the kids have been preoccupied with the swimming pool and tennis court.

Set in 2.5 acres of land, it’s no wonder the family chose to isolate at the envy-inducing Cornwall escape.

Prior to lockdown, Gordon had been renovating his other holiday home in Cornwall after he made the purchase back in 2015.

The chef got his hands on the planning permission to knock down the old house and replace it with a family home and a smaller neighbouring house last July.

It took him eight months to win the battle.

His impressive third Cornwall home has the capacity to sleep 10 people over three storeys.

Based in the small picturesque town of Fowey, the property has an ideal location and it’s just half a mile from comedian Dawn French’s £5million mansion.

Gordon splashed out £2million on the Grade II-listed pad in 2017 and he has been renting it out for up to £8,000 a week.

The Ramsays have not been welcomed by the locals, who have threatened to expose the celebrity chef’s address if he doesn’t leave soon, according to The Sun.

It comes after strict government guidelines ordered people to avoid travelling unless it was necessary as the UK went into lockdown.

But their stay has personally been a “living nightmare” for the Hell’s Kitchen star because he’s constantly cooking up a storm for his five ravenous children.

Ramsay lamented he has cooked more in isolation than he has in the whole of his career.

The telly chef stressed lockdown with his five children was something out of his worst nightmares.

The star said he prepares three meals a day for his constantly hungry kids.
