I'm A Celeb's Ant and Dec mock Boris Johnson's secret lockdown Christmas parties

Ant and Dec had a good laugh as they poked fun at the expense of Boris Johnson on Sunday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here!

The Prime Minister is under fire after reports surfaced of him having secret parties in No 10 last year when the country was in lockdown.

The Geordie duo discussed the next trial as Dec explained that athlete Matty Lee would be doing the trial since he lost the wishing well challenge earlier.

As the crew could be heard roaring with laughter, Dec says: "Evening Prime Minister" before pulling a party popper.

Ant then added: “And Naughty Boy because the British public insist on voting for a bumbling figure who puts on a spread for a select group of friends behind closed doors in a historic building.”

Boris and his Downing Street staff were accused of breaking Covid rules by attending parties at Number 10 in the run-up to last Christmas.

The Prime Minister was said to have given a speech at a packed leaving do for a top aide when the country was in the grip of its second lockdown.

Then just days before Christmas, with London in tier 3 restrictions, members of his top team reportedly held their own festive shindig in Downing Street.

The revelations come after top health chief Dr Jenny Harries warned that people should reduce their socialising this Christmas in light of the Covid surges.

Meanwhile, on I’m A Celeb Naughty Boy, who hasn’t had the smoothest of starts on the show, found out tonight he’d been sleeping in his hammock the wrong way.

Admitting he’d had a restless night he told his campmates: “I was topsy turvy, you can’t sleep on a hammock the way you want.”

But Frankie Bridge and DJ Snoochie Shy, curled up in their own hammocks, pointed out that it was because he was sleeping in it the ‘wrong way.’

Naughty Boy asked them: “Why didn’t someone say last night?”

But Frankie just laughed and said: “I’ve only just noticed. Also you could have just looked at how everyone else is sleeping and thought ‘I might try that.’”

Tonight’s show saw the first elimination in which Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips was told to back her bags.

Leaving the castle, the oldest ever campmate told hosts Ant and Dec that she felt “emotional” but was looking forward to seeing her family.
