ICELAND shoppers looking to stock up on sweet treats can crack into a Creme Egg inspired cheesecake this Easter.
The indulgent-looking Luxury Belgian Chocolate Easter Egg Cheesecake is topped with a white and yellow chocolate sauce, spread in the shape of a cracked egg.
The sauce, which is surrounded by dark chocolate strands, sits on top of a vanilla cheesecake centre and a classic biscuit base.
The frozen treat is available now in Iceland stores nationwide for £3 each, which is great news for Cadbury fans that’ve long been after a Creme Egg cheesecake.
Cadbury has yet to launch an official Creme Egg cheesecake but as the Iceland one isn’t technically affiliated by the chocolate manufacturer, we can’t say how close in taste it is to the real deal.
However, that hasn’t stopped shoppers getting excited to tuck into it.
Replying to a post about the treat on the NewFoodsUK Instagram page, one hungry person said: “Wow life is complete.”
Another shopper excitedly asked: “What is this?!”
The cheesecake, which weighs 390g, is available to buy in Iceland stores and online now, while stocks last.
As it’s limited edition, Iceland says it won’t be around for long but the supermarket hasn’t revealed an exact end date for the product.
Iceland has 960 stores in the UK – use the online shop finder to locate your nearest one.
Or if you plan on shopping online, remember to factor in Iceland’s £25 minimum spend, plus delivery costs of between £2 and £4.
We’ve asked Iceland how many calories the cheesecake has and we’ll update this story when we get a response.
