A MCDONALD’S employee has revealed the meaning behind the stars on their badges – and viewers are in shock.

Recently, a lot of staff members, both former and current, have come forward sharing some insider information on social media – for example, Georgia Zacki, from Huddersfield, explained why you might want to think twice about ordering fries.
Amongst those revealing unknown facts is Lauren Ruby, a mum who works at one of the restaurants.
The employee took it to TikTok to explain what the stars on their badges really stand for – and it’s safe to say, viewers all assumed something else.
”I’ve actually had this comment a fair few times now – so I’m gonna tell you what my stars mean.
”Excuse mine cause I’ve lost my badge, so these ones are just temporary. They’re not actually the correct stars.”
Sat in a car, the mum went on: ”So at the back it tells you you’ve got a little Q, S, C and then a little smiley face.”
And turns out, each of the letters carried a different meaning.
”So your Q stands for your quality, your S stands for service, your C stands for your cleanliness.
”And then the little smiley face, which is the end one, is your vital ingredient.”
This, she explained, is acquired once the employees complete all their training modules.

Lauren continued in the caption: ”hope this answers your question!”
With close to a whopping 270,000 views and almost 25,000 likes, the clip has taken the social media platform by storm.
Some people confessed they were surprised to learn about the true meaning behind the cute features on the badges, like this viewer: ”Oh I always thought the stars were to do with customer service or something like that l!”
Another worked revealed: ”They have changed the training now.
”Trainees get their first star on their first shift they get the smiley face one after doing some online stuff.”
Someone else penned: ”I never did my stars stuff because my store weren’t going to pay me for my time and I didn’t wanna do it for free.”
