John Fury has warned Eddie Hearn he will ‘bury’ him after the Matchroom chief criticised last week’s Jake Fury vs Tommy Fury press conference.

BT Sport were forced to apologise after last week’s live press conference descended into chaos, with John Fury making X-rated comments over Paul’s girlfriend Julia Rose in one of the many wild exchanges between the Fury family and the American.

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was also in attendance, ending proceedings in saying: ‘Can we wrap up then? Before my dad gets himself into a world of trouble.’

Fury Snr has since made an apology of sorts to anyone offended by his remarks, before taking aim at Hearn who branded the press conference ‘disgusting’ and ‘tasteless’ over the weekend.

‘I’m not trying to be anything other than what I am, I am not trying to be royalty, I’m not trying to be a gentleman.’ Fury said in a video shared on social media.

‘If people are offended by what I’m saying, it’s the fight game. People here are smashing each other to pieces, trying to knock people out and hurt people, so a few little bits of unsavoury banter… I can’t help that.

‘But again, I’m man enough to apologise to all the people who don’t get it and don’t get me.

‘For those people who don’t get John Fury, no harm meant and I apologise. But that’s me, I’m not a gentleman, I am what I am.’

Addressing Hearn, Fury accused the Matchroom chief of trying to ‘discredit’ the Fury name.

‘Eddie, you have got a problem with the Furys because you aren’t getting paid by them and your slagging them and jumping on everything that might discredit them.

‘But that’s just you mate. Be careful what you say about others. Look in the mirror and have a long hard think about your own life, your own family before you call others out.

‘You know what I’m talking about pal. So we don’t want go any further will this b*****t, say nice things about the Furys. Because John Fury will bury you. You will wish you never heard of the Fury name.

‘Let’s be nice to one another and not be jealous of others good fortune. Tyson is the best in the world and he’s had to earn that. So credit to him, don’t discredit him and you’ll go up in everyone’s estimation.’
