How to remove brown stains from teeth

Brown spots on teeth have a number of different causes, ranging from certain foods to medication.

Coffee, red wine, blueberries, blackberries, pomegranates and cola have all be claimed to cause tooth staining.

On rarer occasions, brown strains could also be a warning sign of coeliac disease.

But generally, as people get older, their teeth can become darker, owing to a cumulative effect of surface staining.
