A GROUP under the auspices of ‘the Concerned Muslims rising from a roundtable meeting in Kaduna has alleged that the genocide perpetrated in Southern Kaduna was carefully orchestrated to prevent the spread of Islam in the region.
In a communique issued shortly after the meeting which was attended by selected eminent Islamic clerics and representatives of religious organisations from all segments and all parts of Nigeria, the group said they had come together to discuss the incessant crisis in the Southern Kaduna to find a lasting solution to its future occurrence.
The Communique signed by the Chairman Dr Mustapha Qasim and Secretary, Yusuf Arrigasiyyu, argued that there is mischievous and misleading information as to the real victims of Southern Kaduna crisis, as Muslims are always being the victim of the carnage and destruction.
The group, however, noted that the killings of innocent Muslims in Southern Kaduna are of serious concern to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and world at large.
“The Muslims either from Southern Kaduna or from the Ummah are either not effectively using the media to voice their ordeal or lack of accessibility to media or are subdued by propaganda.
“The persistent killing of Muslims in Southern Kaduna is a ploy to completely wipe them out of the area despite being the founders of many communities in the areas for hundreds of years.
“The continued genocide of the Muslims in Southern Kaduna was an intentional plan orchestrated against the Muslims to prevent the spread of Islam and also to win sympathy and donation from other Christians across the glove.
