Gwen Stefani has confirmed she has married her partner of over five years Blake Shelton.
The No Doubt singer, 51, and the country music star, 45, were reported to have tied the knot over the weekend and it’s now been made official after Gwen posted a string of sweet pics on social media from their big day.
The Hollaback Girl singer confirmed that the duo had exchanged their vows on Saturday in Oklahoma on the eve of July 4 celebrations in the US.
The couple first hit it off while they were both coaches on the US version of TV talent show The Voice.
And last week the sparked intense speculation that their big day was imminent after they applied for a marriage license in the state of Oklahoma.
In the US state, holders of the license have 10 days to tie the knot, which led to intense speculation that the singers were set to have their big day over the July 4 weekend.
Gwen’s confirmation that the pair wed newlyweds came after she posted a video of her wearing a bridal veil to Instagram.
Alongside a love heart emoji, she captioned the post: “July 3rd 2021.”
She signed off the post with “gx” before following it up with more images from the big day.
In one sweet snap, Gwen and Blake can be seen sharing a kiss next to the lavish and tall cake.
Another of the snaps shows Gwen’s new husband kiss her on the cheek while in another she is joyfully waving a bouquet of flowers as she was driven in a cart by her beau.
“July 3rd 2021 dreams do come,” she wrote alongside a love heart and the prayer emoji. ” @blakeshelton i love you.”
Famous faces and fans alike flocked to her posts to offer congratulations to the happy couple.
Make-up artist Kandee Johnson wrote: “OH MY HEART!!!!!!! Congrats to you gorgeous, Mrs. Shelton! I couldn’t heart, like or love this more for you!”
Singer Debbie Gibson also commented, saying: Congrats to you both ! What a duo.”
And fashion stylist Rob Zangardi, who also posted pics of the day on his personal page, put: “LOVE YOU.”
It’s reported that the big day took place at Blake’s own ranch in Oklahoma in a specially-built chapel.
It’s both of the pair’s second marriage, with Gwen previously wed to lead singer of the bad Bush, Gavin Rossdale. She shares three sons with the star, but the pair called it quits in 2016.
Blake was previously married to singer Miranda Lambert but they announced they had divorced after four years of marriage in July 2015.
