A GUNMAN reportedly killed his baby daughter, his wife and her grandparents before turning the gun on himself in a sickening murder-suicide in Texas yesterday.
Randy J Horn has been named in local reports as the man behind the bloodbath in the town of Blanchard on Monday morning.
The 54-year-old was found dead alongside his wife Ashley Horn, 27, their 15-month-old daughter Ranley, and Ashley’s grandparents Lynda and Gene Delaney, according to DailyMail.com.
Emergency services rushed to the rural address in Polk County at around 10:30am local time yesterday amid reports of an ongoing assault.
But officers arrived to find a bloodbath – with the victims suffering “apparent gunshot woulds”, the local Sheriff’s Office said.
The shooting happened at the Delaney Ranch – owned by Mr and Mrs Delaney – about 70miles north east of Houston.
Police are yet to reveal more information about the horrific attack – saying “the scene is extremely fluid.”
The shooting comes less than two weeks after police officers were left fighting for life after being injured in a drugs raid in Houston.
Four cops were gunned down during the raid on a home believed to be a heroin den – with two hit in the neck.
One of the pair was said to have been shot multiple times – while a fifth cop was also injured in the bust.
Detectives from the sheriff’s department are investigating along with the Texas Rangers.
