GLAMOUR Tries: We tested the stick-on beauty trend and it's so much easier than normal makeup

There’s no better pastime than testing out the coolest new skincare/makeup/hair trends and snazzy innovations in beauty tech from the comfort of your own home. That said, there’s nothing more frustrating than spending upwards of £100 on a new at-home facial system or snazzy pair of hair straighteners, only to find out they don’t *actually* work.

Enter GLAMOUR Tries: the weekly Instagram series which sees GLAMOUR editors do all of the time-consuming (and expensive) work for you.

Yep, we’ve been busy trying out all of the wacky and wonderful beauty crazes to take the internet (read: TikTok) by storm – from FOREO’s UFO 2 Smart Mask Treatment (an LED face mask with a difference) to Toni&Guy’s Hello Day! Secret Volumising Crimper and KVD Beauty’s Good Apple Skin Perfecting Foundation Balm. These are the products every influencer/gen-Z beauty slueth/beauty editor is talking about on the internet – but that you want to be sure about before parting with your money.

Thanks to GLAMOUR Tries, you won’t need to waste your hard-earned pennies on testing these innovations yourself. We’re getting in their first, giving you the lowdown and making sure you invest in products that genuinely work. Like what you see? You can shop all of the products seen on GLAMOUR tries in previous weeks down below. Race ya?

On GLAMOUR Tries this week, Beauty Editor Lottie Winter tested the beauty trend you’ll most *definitely* have seen all over social media as of late. Stick-on makeup.

“These super cute floral stickers from Squish Beauty are actually meant for putting over your acne, but I just think they’re really pretty so I’d use them as makeup!” Lottie starts by applying the colourful designs to the outer corner of her eye. “They’re so fun and easy, and also they would look great over a pimple.”

She continues on with Ciaté London’s Volume 1 Cheat Sheets which come with four funky designs. “So these are actually nail stickers and you can definitely do some easy nail art with them, but they are just stickers so again I’m going to put them on my face.”

She opts for the multicoloured leopard print sheet and gently applies them to her eyelids with some tweezers.”You guys, I am obsessed. OBSESSED. That looks so cool and it’s so much better than anything I could have done free hand.”
