George Clooney to reunite with his ER castmates for Stars in the House charity event

Two-time Oscar winner George Clooney will reunite with his ER castmates for Stars in the House’s Waterkeeper Alliance benefit, which streams on Earth Day.

The Midnight Sky director-star – turning 60 next month – scored two Emmy nods for his breakout role as pediatrician Dr. Doug Ross on the NBC medical drama from 1994 to 1999.

Fans might forget that George – whose aunt was Rosemary Clooney – got his start appearing on eighties sitcoms like The Facts of Life and The Golden Girls.

Clooney will join Gloria Reuben, Noah Wyle, Laura Innes, Anthony Edwards, Alex Kingston, Julianna Margulies, Goran Visnjic, Paul McCrane, Ming-Na Wen, Laura Cerón, Yvette Freeman, Conni Marie Brazelton, and CCH Pounder.

It was Golden Globe nominee Gloria Reuben – who played the HIV-positive Jeanie Boulet – who amassed 13 of her co-stars since she’s president of the nonprofit focused on clean water.

‘I am absolutely thrilled to be reuniting with my ER family for a cause that is so close to my heart, and so grateful to [James Wesley and husband Seth Rudetsky] for allowing us to use their incredible platform to do so,’ the Canadian 56-year-old said in a statement to People.

‘I’ve been involved with Waterkeeper Alliance for 15 years, representing over 350 community-based Waterkeepers around the globe, and the work that they do is beyond comparison. We must continue to fight for clean water not just on Earth Day, but all year round!’
