GEMMA Collins could not hide her delight as she was reunited with her uncle after 26 years apart.
Fans of the larger-than-life character were forced to do a double take as Gemma introduced her dad’s twin on her social media channel.
Gemma shared the sweet snap of her dad Alan, 74, and his lookalike brother Ian bumping fists in the garden.
She gushed: “Such a beautiful day down memory Lane !!! After 26 years I’ve seen my uncle Ian again !!!
“First road sweeper in Dagenham to get recognition of the borough then a photo with a mayor and mayoress the local mp called him golden broom shop keepers local tenants and the chief exec of London borough of Barking and Dagenham all put him forward for an OBE 5 times !!!! everyone knows and loves him !!”
The 40-year-old reality star went on to explain how her uncle was the eldest of the two brothers by “15 mins”.
She added the pair were born ” in Rochford hospital Southend and then lived number 1 chinchilla road !! Love the name of the road !!
“Does it still exist would love to see where dad was born !! I’m finding all my family history so interesting !!! 💗”
In December last year both Gemma’s parents – her dad and mum Joan – were diagnosed with coronavirus – her father was left fighting for his life in intensive care.
And with that experience in mind, the businesswoman reflected: “if you haven’t seen family for years reach out 💗”.
Before she contemplated: “you never know I could have twins one day myself !!!”
Gemma’s fans rushed to comment on the family snap with some reassuring the star that Chinchilla Road still exists and they would “take a photo and send it”.
While others were curious and asked “But why 26 years?”.
Like millions of Brits, Gemma is clearly enjoying catching up with friends and family as lockdown restriction start to ease.
The former Towie favourite recently stripped down to a bikini to reveal her new £4,000 sauna.
The queen of reality TV has been splashing the cash in her £1.3m Essex home as she added her own spa facilities.
But the diva GC hasn’t just settled for an ordinary sauna – she’s got an infrared version to help detox her body and banish the blues.
Her home’s new addition follows Gemma’s pledge to turn over a new leaf after almost losing her dad to Covid-19.
She’s lost three stone and counting after overhauling her lifestyle and exercising daily in a bid to boost her health.
Gemma said: “HONEYS 🙌🏻 GC WISDOM 🙌🏻 you need to know infared can help detox your organs !!
“It’s waaaay better than a regular sauna which just heats the skin this heats you from the inside out !! A true detox !!”
Gemma has been treating herself to some home renovations since moving into her £1.3million glass-fronted Essex mansion.
Earlier this week she revealed inside her huge walk-in wardrobe she’s had built for her SHOES.
