In 1974, as a young Cara Chapman, Lambert Robinson and Matthew Donovan sat on the metal play equipment outside Bellwood Preschool in Nambucca Heads, Bishop stood by, camera in hand. Hehad been recently hired as a photographer at the newly established Department of Aboriginal Affairs and was sent out to take photos of Aboriginal people. The kids are frozen in time, captured in a fleeting moment of childhood joy
