Former GMB presenter Piers Morgan says he doesn't need a job

Former GMB presenter Piers Morgan told a fan that he doesn’t need a job as he toured around Scotland’s premier golf courses and drank two bottles of wine worth more than a whopping £700.

The outspoken telly host has been in Scotland enjoying time out of the rat-race with some golf on the country’s best courses.

He visited Kingsbarn in Fife and the old Course at St Andrews, both used in the Dunhill Cup Championship.

Piers who was initially pictured posing with one of his golf clubs in front of a bush at Kingsbarns then headed to St Andrew’s famous course and was pictured with friends and his caddy.

He also posted up a picture of him outside the local pub as well as the drinks he enjoyed on his tour.

Sharing another picture taken at Kingsbarns, Piers wrote on his Instagram: “Fabulous day up in Scotland at the stunning @kingsbarnsgolflinks – great weather, beautiful course, amazing service by the caddies (thanks Sean!) & clubhouse staff, and cracking ‘banter’ with these two golfing charlatans.

“I shared the victory spoils with Martin, best known for being @ameliecruddace’s dad.”

However after one fan joked beneath the post: ‘Mr. Morgan needs a job’ Piers decided to answer by saying: ‘No he doesn’t’.

Piers who was pictured outside the Jigger Inn also said of the bar: “If you know… you know. Great to be back at the best pub in world golf. “

Keen golfing pals Ronan Keating and Shane Warne told him they were jealous.

Piers also posted up a picture of the wine he enjoyed at Little Italy in St Andrews saying: “Not the best preparation for closing day in my Scotland golf battle – but what’s the point of living life if it’s not la dolce vita?

“And trust me, vita doesn’t get much more dolce than guzzling these two beauties… fabulous dinner at Little Italy in St Andrew’s , thanks to Dino and his wonderful staff for a memorable meal.”

The restaurant said the wines were off menu but on closer inspection the 2014 bottle of Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia appears to be worth £250.

The 2004 bottle of Sassicai is extremely hard to find and goes for around the £350 mark.

As one of the original Super Tuscan wines it is adored by the Beckhams, Clooneys and Obamas.
