Rapper Fetty Wap is grieving the tragic death of his four-year-old daughter Lauren, who is the fifth of his six children
Fetty Wap’s is grieving the loss of his four-year-old daughter Lauren, as her death was publicly shared by her devastated mother for the first time.
News of speculation surrounding the tragedy circulated last month, but on Sunday, her mother Turquoise Miami, posted on Instagram sharing her loss.
30-year-old rapper Fetty – reportedly has a total of six children by five different mothers; Aydin, 10, Zaviera, 6, Khari, 5, Amani, 5, and Zy, born in 2018.
Lauren is Fetty’s fifth child. Her cause of death is as yet unconfirmed.
Fetty, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, had relationships with Ariel Reese and is father to Adylin, Zaviera and Zyheir Maxwell with Lezhae Zeona, Amani Lauren with Elaynna Parker, Khari Barbie Maxwell with Masika Kalysha, and Lauren Maxwell with Turquoise Miami.
The star, who is best known for hit songs My Way and Trap Queen, paid tribute to his late daughter Lauren when he took to the stage in Miami.
After performing at Miami’s Rolling Loud festival he posted on his story: “LoLo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl.”
The celebrity father also dedicated one of his popular songs at Rolling Loud in tribute to his little one.
He is now believed to be single after splitting from model Leandra K who he married in September 2019.
His ex and Lauren’s mom posted on her Instagram along with a video clip: “This is my amazing ,beautiful , funny , vibrant, loving ,talented , smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius.
“If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself “ i love you LAUREN ”because they say that souls can feel your love #rip.”
The star normally keeps his life private on social media and has yet to directly acknowledge Lauren’s death.
On Father’s Day he posted several snaps of his kids alongside the caption: “Pieces of my heart ….. It’s them over anything or anybody.”
He has only shared a handful of proud dad moments on social media in recent times, including a shot of his daughter Eliza at her Kindergarten graduation.
In another image he shared of his youngest son Zye adding: “Minnie me. My 3 year old … lil papi gettin big yo.”
The devastating death of his daughter Lauren at the age of just four comes after a troubled time in the rapper’s personal life.
He also endured the loss of his younger brother, Twyshon Depew, 26, who died in a shooting of Oct. 2020.
The rapper posted a tribute to his Instagram story.
“Love you Twy…Really Missin you kidd but I see you brought the sun out today i’ma pour sum up for you today,” he wrote.
