Strictly Come Dancing’s Faye Tozer has revealed that she’s dropped a dress size thanks the hit BBC One show.

The celebrities have often been inspiration for viewers to put on their dancing shoes and have a boogie, and getting healthier is definitely one additional benefit.

‘I’ve definitely dropped a dress size. I was between a size 10 and a size 12 and now I’m a size 10,’ said Faye, who has been owning the dancefloor with professional partner Giovanni Pernice.

The former Steps singer began training in early September after being partnered with Pernice.

Faye, a former member of pop band Steps, has already admitted she is a big fan of pole dancing but speaking to New! magazine, she added: ‘I thought I was fit before but you’re literally on your feet for at least six hours a day.’

Faye was introduced to pole dancing for a role in play Saucy Jack And The Space Vixens 12 years ago, and the star has revealed she has never looked back, crediting pole dancing for her muscles and for being so toned.

Faye topped the leaderboard in the first week alongside Ashley James and Pasha Kovolev, and after performing a Cha Cha Cha to Lullaby by Sigala and Paloma Faith, they were praised by Darcey Bussell for it being the ‘perfect way to finish the night’.

Ahead of the first elimination of the series in the second week, Faye gained an extra two points to earn herself a respectable 31 points following a Viennese Waltz to It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World by Seal.
