Faye Brookes looks happier than ever after she's named Dancing On Ice bombshell

Faye Brookes was her happiest after she was named the fourth Dancing On Ice star.

The former Coronation Street star, 33, looked delighted as she stepped out following the news she was swapping the soap set for an ice skating rink.

Out for a leafy walk, the actress was wearing sunglasses as she embraced the lingering spells of sunshine in Manchester.

Faye broke cover following her Zoom interview on Lorraine confirming she was going to be taking part on Dancing on Ice.

Her upcoming stint show comes after Corrie stars Brooke Vincent and Samia Ghadie come third and fourth respectively recently on the show.

Faye shot to fame as the character Kate Connor on the Coronation Street cobbles from 2015 until 2019.

Naturally she’s following in her co-stars’ footsteps by signing up to compete on Dancing on Ice.

There’s going to be healthy competition as the actress is set to compete against Emmerdale soap star Joe-Warren Plant on the ice.

Myleene Klass was the first celebrity to sign up among the star-studded contestants.

Denise Van Outen has also got her skates on to compete in the skating show early next year.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will reprise their hosting duties as Dancing on Ice returns to our screens.

Clearly excited, Faye spilled her upcoming Dancing on Ice was the “biggest secret” she’s ever kept in her life when she confirmed the news on Lorraine this week.

“As soon as this interview is over I can contact them but I’ve obviously had to keep this to myself,” Faye told Lorraine.

“It’s the biggest secret I’ve kept in my life!

“I saw Brooke yesterday and I was desperate to tell her but I thought one more day and I’ll be able to. She’ll be my first text message after I’ve finished this interview.”
