AFTER practicing for many years, a man described as a fake doctor has been apprehended in Kano. The state Private Health Institution Management Agency (PHIMA) under the state ministry of health, in a joint operation with the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) exposed the man whom they identified Ibrahim Adamu
Adamu is said to have claimed to be a licenced doctor.
Speaking to reporters, shortly after the arrest, PHIMA secretary Dr Usman Tijjani Aliyu said they have been trailing the suspect for a long time.

He said the Adamu was arrested following a tip-off when he was going from one hospital to another in the state as well as neighbouring states.
Dr Usman said the suspect is in police custody for further investigation.,
He said the suspect has confessed that he was working with someone else’s document, which stole from the owner.
