Red Bull Racing will pay tribute to the British agent this weekend to mark the 1,007th Formula 1 race.

The iconic 007 logo has been added to the side of the cockpit, as well as the rear wing ahead of the race.

Drivers will also show off licence plates from some of Bond’s most well-known motors, with lead racer Max Verstappen displaying the BMT 216A plate made famous in 1964 film Goldfinger.

And his French team mate Pierre Gasly will show off the registration which featured in Bond classic The Living Daylights.

The motoring giant will also give car enthusiasts a sneak peak over the weekend of the limited edition Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, which has been released to celebrate the anniversary of Bond film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Christian Horner, team principal at Red Bull, said: “Celebrating Bond at F1’s 1007th race was too good an opportunity to miss given our title partnership with Aston Martin.

“Showcasing the world of James Bond here at the British Grand Prix, our second home race of the season, is really exciting.
