‘Exciting’ three-bed home goes on the market for just £110,000 – but it needs a HUGE clear out

AN “exciting” three-bedroom home is on the market for just £110,000 – but it’s in need of a serious clear out.

The filthy house is cluttered with rubbish and rotting food after being abandoned five years ago.

Auction House South Yorkshire listed the property for auction, adding that it is in “need of refurbishment”.

But that could be the understatement of the year as every room is piled high with junk.

It is for sale “as seen” with a guide price of £110,000 – with no explanation given as to why the homeowners could not be bothered to tidy up.

The terraced home, nestled in the Hillsborough suburb of Sheffield, comes fully furnished – with debris, decaying takeaways, and heaps of bin bags scattered in every room.

So prospective buyers will have to get their hands dirty and clean it themselves to turn the mountains of waste into their “forever home”.

The three-story house boasts a cellar on the lower ground level, a kitchen and living room on the ground floor, and three bedrooms and a family bathroom on top.

The property comes with a bunk bed – complete with stained sheets – and potential homeowners will also be treated to a diverse selection of discarded plush toys and dirty rags.

The kitchen features a stained cooker, rusty pots and pans, and a surprisingly half-used bottle of washing up liquid.

Wallpaper in the top bedroom has been stripped off, revealing a “rustic” brick look.

And the shared bathroom offers a unique experience – as it has been fitted with a bath as well as a leather chair, and some old unfinished bog roll.

The listing adds the property is just a stone’s throw away from an array of bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a tram and bus stop with links into the city centre.

However, social media users reacted with shock after it was posted by the auction house in the state it had been left in.

Craig Beresford, commenting on Facebook, quipped: “Hope furniture’s NOT included.”

And Mitch Wood said they were “better off getting wrecking ball out and knock lot down”.

Some people were more hopeful however. Elyse Maria Bingham joked she had finally found her “forever home”.

She commented: “After having some setbacks and a few hurdles to jump over, we’ve finally bagged our forever home.”
