EASTENDERS star Hetti Bywater has said she “hated” her character Lucy Beale and is glad she’s dead.
The actress was the last of four stars to play the role, which culminated in her grisly death at the hands of her ten-year-old brother Bobby.
Her admission came as the 26-year-old answered a vile troll who had been commenting on her pictures.
Hetti took issue with the bloke on several points, but agreed with one, saying: “I’m glad Bobby killed Lucy too, I hated her.”
The character died in a huge storyline to mark the 30th anniversary of EastEnders in 2015 dubbed ‘Who killed Lucy?’
The culprit was eventually unmasked as Ian’s son Bobby, who clonked her over the head with a jewellery box and was later jailed.
She answered a man who had called her a “trampy little whore” replying: “Dat me ?♀️.
“Seeing as you kindly comment on many of my stories I will now take the time to respond to each one.
“Firstly, this ‘posh white’ girl is aloud to talk in whatever way she pleases. As much as I’m very found of the English language, I’m free to use words as I see fit.”
She later added: “That’s nice that you would choose to ‘f**k me’. I however would strongly decline that offer.
“LGBTQIA+ history is an extremely important part of education. To believe otherwise is ridiculously problematic and homophobic.”
Hetti added: “Trampy sl*t? Fair comment.
“I do love gay men yes I also love straight men. (The ones who aren’t homophobic or sexist.)”
Her troll did later say sorry, with Hetti posting the message which read: “Apologies in any slurs I used towards you.
“In hindsight I was out of order. I don’t agree on all the LGBTQ but hey.
“That’s individual choice. Wishing you all the best and again sorry for being a d**k.”
She wrote: “The response is in people. Not the best but at least he took accountability for the sexist language. However, equality shouldn’t be up for debate.”
As well as appearing in EastEnders, Hetti has had roles in the BBC drama Death In Paradise, Sky One’s Delicious and appeared in gangster flick St George’s Day.
