Everyday objects sculpted from scraps – in pictures

Philadelphia artist Lydia Ricci sculpts from scraps and rubbish. “I treasure a discarded electrical bill like others value their family jewels,” she says. She uses this stuff to make miniatures of overlooked everyday objects: hairdryers, shopping trolleys, couches. “They are messy and imperfect, just like memories.” See more at
