Everton are willing to offer £35 million to sign Flamengo midfielder Reinier, according to reports in Brazil.

The 17-year-old is yet to make his senior debut for Flamengo but is widely regarded as one of the top young prospects in South America.

Manchester City, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund are all monitoring Reinier but according to GloboEsporte, Everton have indicated to Flamengo that they are prepared to submit a £35m bid.

Reinier has a contract with Flamengo until December 2021 and would not be allowed to leave the Brazilian club until he turns 18 in January.

In his current deal, Reinier has a £62m release clause with Flamengo.

Reinier started out as a defensive midfielder but now plays as a No.10 for Brazil and Flamengo’s youth sides.

At the South American Under-17 Championship earlier this year, Reinier scored three goals in a struggling Brazil side which failed to get out of their group and reach the final stage.
