Everton next manager: Toffees in talks with five coaches as Farhad Moshiri delays decision

The report claims Ralf Rangnick, who is currently head of sport and development at Red Bull, might also be tempted to return to football management and take up the job at Goodison Park.

Moshiri is also believed to be a keen admirer of Ajax boss, Erik ten Hag, with the Toffees confident they can lure the Dutch coach into swapping Amsterdam for Merseyside.

However, Everton have been given some breathing room following the good start under caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson.

The former Everton striker, who is in temporary charge of the Toffees, guided them to a 3-1 home win over Chelsea on Saturday.
