Everton misfit Sandro Ramirez ends Goodison Park nightmare with loan switch to Real Sociedad

Sandro’s Everton nightmare is finally over, with the striker completing a move to Real Sociedad.

The outcast forward flew to Spain on Thursday morning to undergo a medical with the La Liga club and complete the formalities of his season-long loan deal.

While Everton have insisted there is no automatic option to buy, it is understood he is is keen on a permanent return to his homeland, and will push to stay.

Sandro endured a torrid time at Goodison after his £5million move in the summer of 2017.

The former Malaga man scoring just a solitary goal in 15 appearances before being hurriedly sent out on loan to Sevilla.

He becomes the fifth player to be signed by Everton in the summer of 2017 to leave within a year.

Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Nikola Vlasic and Cuco Martina have all already departed.
