Erling Haaland is one of the most coveted footballers on the planet after becoming one of the world’s best at Borussia Dortmund. Although, with links across the globe, agent fees may be a struggle for some clubs, including Liverpool.
The Norwegian moved to Germany with a lot of promise aged just 19, after scoring 29 goals in 27 games for RB Salzburg.
How Haaland would do in Germany was up in the air; many believed he would find it hard to adjust to life in the Bundesliga, whilst critics suggested he would carry on where he left off.
And it was the latter who were right – as Haaland has become arguably the most talked about youngster in the world.
Having scored two goals against Union Berlin on Sunday, it took Haaland’s tally to 68 goals in just 67 games for the BVB – a remarkable feat for a 21-year-old.
His performances have sparked interest from the world’s elite, including Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
“I am not saying, however, that it is completely out of the question.
“We’ll do everything we can to keep our top players loyal to us in the future.
“We have to have the self-confidence to say we’ll find a new top striker again.”
