England fans will be excited to have their team back in a major tournament for the regular fixtures on their TV.
They will be hoping the Euros emulates the highs of the 2018 summer where Gareth Southgate’s side reached the World Cup semi-finals.
In order for the manager to get a feel for the team he has selected, England are playing warm-up games.
On Sunday they will face Romania but they were dealt a blow earlier this week on Wednesday in their 1-0 win over Austria as Trent Alexander-Arnold was injured.
Southgate will now have to decide who will replace the Liverpool player but this isn’t likely to be confirmed until after the warm-up against Romania.
Here’s all you need to know about the fixture.
When is the match?
The match kicks off at 5pm on Sunday 6 June.
Where can I watch?
The game will be available to watch on ITV 1 and the ITV HUB with coverage starting at 4.15pm.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out of the Euros after sustaining a thigh injury against Austria. The Liverpool star’s replacement is yet to be confirmed.
Harry Maguire is not fit but his Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford could star as he joined the team on Thursday.
Captain Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling are likely to be rested while players like Ben Chilwell are set to feature.
England – Henderson; Chilwell, Stones, Coady, Mings; Phillips, Bellingham, Sancho; Rashford, Calvert-Lewin
England – 2/8
Draw – 5/1
Romania – 10/1
While England’s match against Austria wasn’t stunning, Gareth Southgate’s side should pull off a win in the fixture. It won’t be a high scoring match but it will once again be a good opportunity to get a better picture of the Three Lions’ options. England 1-0 Romania.
