Emeli recently returned to music with the single Look What You’ve Done, and has said that lockdown was the reason wanted to make music again.

She spoke to Lorraine earlier this month to discuss the song and said: ‘This new single is the first time I’ll be producing a song and releasing it.

‘It feels great to get deeper into the production, the creativity of it all, and I feel like I can just show people new sides of myself on this new album.

‘I had a studio in my house so having that time and freedom to really try new sounds and try different styles that beforehand.’

‘Having that taken away as well – being in the studio with people – that’s something I always used to enjoy because you get the spontaneity.’
