President Rodrigo Duterte will virtually attend the 13th Asia-Europe Meeting Summit (ASEM) from November 25 to November 26, which will allow Asian and European nations to exchange views on multilateralism growth and sustainable development.
In a statement, Malacañang said the summit, which has a theme of “Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Growth,” will be chaired by the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Duterte is also expected to discuss rebuilding a resilient future as well as international and regional issues at the Second Plenary and Retreat Sessions of the Summit on November 26.
ASEM is an informal dialogue process of 53 partners from Europe, Asia, the European Union and the ASEAN Secretariat.
It also aimed to strengthen cooperation between Asia and Europe through mutual respect and equal partnership.
