Don't Rock The Boat: Victoria Pendleton and Jodie Kidd defeated

Victoria Pendleton couldn’t hide her fury during Thursday’s Don’t Rock The Boat, as the blue team were finally victorious after days of poor form.

The Olympian had a look of daggers as the blues celebrated their victory and managed to reduce the reds lead by several hours.

Her reaction came just a day after Victoria stormed off in hysterical tears following a clash with Craig Charles, as she was accused of being ‘toxic’ due to her staunch focus on winning.

As the two teams took to the water once again, the blues surprised viewers by storming to victory, and narrowing the red team’s lead by 22 minutes.

Having struggled in the land challenge – which saw them collect buoys as they walked a tightrope over a waterfall – Jodie and Victoria couldn’t hide their fury as the blues celebrated their victory.

Admitting it’s likely they’d lost the land challenge are dropping one of the buoys, Jodie said: ‘OK so they lost and we might have lost, that’s a double shocker.’

Victoria quickly realised that her comments towards Craig sparked upset among the group, saying: ‘I mean I know the finger is being pointed at me, for being competitive, and I am a competitive person, that I’m born and bred that way.

‘What I want to bring to the team and how I feel I support you is by giving it my very best physically.’

Victoria continued: ‘And I feel absolutely hideous, that Craig feels this bad that he can’t get on and just prove us all wrong which was what I was kind of hoping would happen today. I really tried to be there for everybody on the boat.’

Craig then delivered the most brutal blow, saying: ‘Victoria with the greatest of respects, I felt really uncomfortable I felt really awkward, I felt really unhappy.

‘And it’s generally down to you. Some of the energy you adjudge to me as well has been fairly toxic.’

Fighting back tears, Victoria said: ‘Literally that breaks my heart Craig, that actually breaks my heart, and yeah just erm…’ before storming off crying: ‘Just seriously!’
