It’s been another eventful week in the Premier League and there are some hugely significant games to look forward to over the course of the next few days.

The highlight of the weekend takes place on Sunday when Manchester United travel to Stamford Bridge to take on a rampant Chelsea side who have been in sensational form.

Elsewhere, Arsenal will look to get back to winning ways against Newcastle, while two Premier League legends, Steven Gerrard and Patrick Vieira, face-off when Crystal Palace take on Aston Villa.

As ever Betfair Ambassador Dimitar Berbatov previews the action for Metro.co.uk…

Arsenal vs Newcastle

Arsenal must bounce back from last week’s thumping defeat at Liverpool (Picture: Getty)

I will go for Arsenal to win this one. Yes they lost heavily to Liverpool last weekend, but Liverpool are machines and it was always going to be tough for Arsenal to go to Anfield and get points. However Arsenal have definitely been showing improvement over the last few weeks, so I’ll go for them to beat Newcastle. Prediction: 2-0

Betfair Exchange Odds: Arsenal – 1/2, Newcastle – 6/1, Draw – 4/1

Southampton vs Liverpool

This one is a no-brainer. The way Liverpool play means this should be an easy one for them as long as they don’t underestimate the opposition. If they don’t then then they will win it comfortably. Prediction: 0-2

Betfair Exchange Odds: Southampton – 10/1, Liverpool – 1/3, Draw – 11/2

Norwich vs Wolves

Norwich have had a good little run recently, having beaten Southampton and Brentford in the their last two league matches. Even though Wolves are currently top six, I think at home and on a winning streak Norwich could have the edge so I’m going with Norwich to make it three in a row. Prediction: 1-0

Betfair Exchange Odds: Norwich – 13/5, Wolves – 5/4, Draw – 12/5

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa

Steven Gerrard got off to the perfect start as Aston Villa boss last weekend (Picture: Getty)

I think this is a really evenly matched game. Aston Villa won their last game, Steven Gerrard’s first which was a great start for him at the club and in the Premier League he will obviously want to continue like that. On the other hand Vieira is not doing too badly himself at Crystal Palace. So I’ll go with a draw on this one. Prediction: 1-1

Betfair Exchange Odds: Crystal Palace – 5/4, Aston Villa – 5/2, Draw – 5/2

Brighton vs Leeds

Both teams are coming into this one off the back of losses, Leeds away to Spurs, while Brighton couldn’t match Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa in his first match in charge. I like Leeds because I love Bielsa but I think at home Brighton will be too strong, so I’m going for a win for them. Prediction: 1-0

Betfair Exchange Odds: Brighton – 6/5, Leeds – 14/5, Draw – 5/2

Brentford vs Everton

After a great start to the season, Brentford have hit a bit of a rough patch, especially at home where they’ve lost three in a row including last time out against Norwich. Everton have also been in poor form but I think they’ll have enough to edge this one. Prediction: 0-1

Betfair Exchange Odds: Brentford – 11/8, Everton – 5/2, Draw – 12/5

Man City vs West Ham

West Ham are pushing and challenging for the top four and they’re playing good football. But I just can’t see them doing it at the Etihad this weekend. Yes, they could surprise them, and it’s not outside the realms of possibility, with the season they have had so far, but I think this might be a step too far so I’ll go for Man City. Prediction 3-1

Betfair Exchange Odds: Man City – 1/3, West Ham – 10/1, Draw – 5/1

Leicester vs Watford

Watford’s win over Man United was the catalyst for a week of huge change there and it was massive win for Watford, putting that many goals on United. But I think away from home Leicester will be too strong for them, I like Leicester and I like the way Jamie Vardy scores goals so I’ll with the home side for the win. Prediction: 2-1

Betfair Exchange Odds: Leicester – 4/6, Watford – 5/1, Draw – 7/2

Burnley vs Tottenham

With Spurs, they’re not slipping in the first half like they always do and then waking up and starting to play. They’re coming off a much needed win and if they start playing from the beginning of the match this time then this should be another win for them. So I’m going Spurs. Prediction: 0-1

Betfair Exchange Odds: Burnley – 14/5, Spurs – 11/10, Draw – 11/4

Chelsea vs Man United

Because I used to play for the team, it’s difficult to go against them, but it’s been a very tough week for United and it’s a big ask going to Stamford Bridge off the back of what has happened. Chelsea have been unbelievable in the last couple of weeks in both Premier League and in that record breaking win over Juventus in the Champions League this week. They are on a great winning streak and in great form so I have to go with Chelsea. Prediction: 2-1

Betfair Exchange Odds: Chelsea – 5/8, Man United – 5/1, Draw – 7/2
