DANI Dyer has shown off a clever parenting hack as she transformed a paddling pool into the perfect shady playmat for baby son Santi.
The 24-year-old star and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence welcomed their first baby in January, and she has been keeping social media followers updated on parenthood ever since.
Taking to her Instagram Story today, the 2018 Love Island champ shared a sweet video of her little boy as the UK finally got some sunshine.
In a clever mum hack, Santi’s playmat has been put inside an inflatable paddling pool that came complete with a hooded section to offer shade.
With her little boy to young to enjoy the adorable pool for its intended purpose, Dani decided that she wasn’t going to let it go to waste.
She explained to fans: “Got this really cute little swimming pool which shades Santi.
“I put his playmat in there for comfort as don’t think he’s ready for a cold paddling pool yet!”
The pool perfectly helps to keep the four-month-old out of the sun, and the inflated design offers extra padding alongside the mat.
Dani filmed her son excitedly kicking his legs as he relished the exciting new set-up, with the proud mum cooing: “Who’s in there? Are you chilling?”
She later brought the pool indoors and filled it with balls for Santi and a pal’s baby to enjoy together.
The little one was dressed for the sunshine in pinstripe blue and white dungarees with his name embroidered across the chest.
Dani added some socks with pom-pom detailing to keep his feet warm, and a sun hat while outdoors.
