Dad shares recipe for easy two-ingredient flourless Nutella mug cakes

Indulgent and simple – the perfect combination (Picture: schooluchboxdad/METROGRAB)

A dad has taken to TikTok to show how he makes delicious mug cakes in minutes – and using just two ingredients.

In his video, TikTokker and cookbook author George Georgievski, who posts under the username schoollunchboxdad, shares how easy it is to make enough of the simple, sumptuous little cakes for four people.

All you need is five tablespoons of Nutella, two eggs, four mugs, a mixing bowl, and a fork.

To start, mix the ingredients together in the bowl until it reaches a ‘nice and runny’ consistency.

Then, divide it equally into the four mugs – George says two tablespoons in each should do the trick.

After the cake mixture has been divvied up, all that is left to do is bake.

George does it in his air fryer, cooking them at 180°C –  however, in the comments, he says you can also put them in a conventional oven at the same temperature for 20 minutes, or even easier, pop them in the microwave to bake in just two minutes.

Before he bakes the cakes, the clip shows what the mixture in the mugs should look like before and after cooking – with the previously gloopy cake mix getting nice and fluffy with the help of the air fryer.

As a finishing touch, George dusts the cooked cakes with icing sugar before cutting into one, showing an indulgent-looking gooey centre.
