Former UFC king  Conor McGregor has reportedly been taken into custody in Corsica for alleged indecent exposure.

According to reports, the Irishman was arrested following the incident.

A press release from the prosecution reads: ‘Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing facts likely to be qualified as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony McGregor was the subject of a hearing by the services of gendarmerie, under the regime of police custody.’

McGregor, who back in June announced his retirement from the sport for a third time in four years, has been holidaying on the Mediterranean island and was due to attend a glitzy event to promote water safety.

The 32-year old was pictured earlier this week on the port of Calvi, along with his fiance Dee Devlin.

McGregor’s representatives confirmed the former two-weight world champion had been questioned but had been released after denying accusations.

‘Conor McGregor vigorously denies any accusation of misconduct,’ a source close to the Irishman told TMZ. ‘He has been interviewed and released.’

McGregor was yesterday left baffled by the United States Anti-Doping Agency who boarded his yacht wanting to conduct a random drug test, despite the fighter’s inactivity.

‘What’s going on here UFC? USADA have just arrived to my yacht this morning for testing?

‘I’ve retired guys! But go on then, I’ll allow them test me. It’s all natural here baby! Forever and always, God Bless. 180km across the Mediterranean Sea tomorrow! LET’S GO!’

McGregor must officially give notification of his retirement, with athletes required to keep their Whereabouts file up to date so USADA can track their movements for testing.
