Comedian John Bishop and his wife have both tested positive for Covid-19.
The Liverpool funnyman, 54, took to Twitter to share the news that he and spouse Melanie had received a positive test result on Christmas Day.
And John told that they’d both been “flattened” by the bug – despite being physically fit non-smokers.
Sharing a snap of an email from the NHS, he wrote to his 3.5 million followers: “This came through on Christmas Day.
“This is the worst illness I have ever had, debilitating headaches, muscle joint and even skin pain, dizziness, nausea, no appetite, incredibly chronic fatigue.
“My wife and I are fit non smokers and it’s flattened us. I don’t wish this on anyone.”
John and Melanie have since been flooded with supportive messages and kind words from others on the platform.
