KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 28): CN Asia Corp Bhd, which hit limit up this morning in active trade, has been served with an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.
The stock, which was one of the top gainers this morning, surged 30 sen or 29.41% to RM1.32, the highest level in nearly six-and-a-half years.
It saw 2.92 million shares changed hands this morning.
In its query, the stock exchange regulator asked the company if there were any corporate developments relating to its business that had not been announced.
The regulator also asked, if the company is aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the group that may account for the trading activity.
