Courtney Stodden has taken aim at Chrissy Teigen for saying she quit Twitter because negative comments had “deeply bruised” her.
The singer and model, 26, slammed the 35-year-old as being “hypocritical” and claimed Chrissy bullied her on the social media platform when she was only 16.
Courtney shared an image on her social media channels on Friday that showed a tweet John Legend’s wife had sent in October 2011 after her page was removed from Facebook.
At the time, Chrissy wrote: “Saying courtney stodden’s FB age got shut down for being too sexy is like saying the nazi’s were just meanies. As in, not quite.”
The comments came a few months after the then 16-year-old Courtney married then 51-year-old The Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison.
Fast forward 10 years and Courtney hit back at Chrissy: “What a shame @chrissyteigen is leaving Twitter… it’s too “negative” for herrrrrr #chrissyteigen #bully.”
She added: “‘Bullying can leave life long scars. Be kind. #Mentalhealth.”
Other tweets the Lip Sync Battle star had previously aimed towards the Side Effects singer have also came back to the surface.
In 2012 she reportedly sent a tweet saying “I hate you” towards Courtney, while she is also said to have made jibes about her being an “animal”.
On Thursday Chrissy tweeted a lengthy post confirming her departure from Twitter in which she said “her life goal is to make people happy” but the platform was now serving her “negatively”.
She added: “‘My desire to be liked and fear of p***ing people off has made me somebody you didn’t sign up for, and a different human than I started out here as! Live well, tweeters. Please know all I ever cared about was you!’
Chrissy later said: “I have to come to terms with the fact some people aren’t gonna like me.
“I hate letting people down or upsetting people and I feel like I just did it over and over and over.
“Someone can’t read that they disappointed you in some way every single day, all day without physically absorbing that energy. I can feel it in my bones.”
