Southampton 2 – 3 Man Utd

90+5 mins: Full time. What a turnaround from Manchester United! It was a brilliant decision to bring Edinson Cavani on at half time. Two goals and an assist for the 33-year-old. He was such a commanding presence up top.

Two goals down at half time but Manchester United leave St. Mary’s with all three points.

Southampton 2 – 3 Man Utd – Cavani

90+2 mins: GOAL! Edinson Cavani has been brilliant for Man Utd. Bruno Fernandes passes a free kick out wide to Marcus Rashford on the left wing. Rashford stops it dead and crosses it into the middle of the box. Cavani makes the run, meets it with a header and puts it past Alex McCarthy!

Southampton 2 – 2 Man Utd

90 mins: Wan Bissaka wins a corner as Bertrand blocks his cross. There’s a small appeal for handball but it comes to nothing. Fernandes whips in a cross and Bednarek is there to head it away for Southampton.

Five added minutes to play. Plenty of time for a winner.
