Chelsea transfer round-up as Fenerbahce eye move for veteran striker Giroud

Chelsea were last summer’s big spenders, with the Blues investing heavily to sign the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy.

However, several of those new additions have struggled to hit the ground running and, with Frank Lampard being replaced by Thomas Tuchel back in January, the new manager may look to bring in some new faces of his own.

Chelsea have already been linked with some big-name targets, but several outgoings are also expected as the club looks to move on some fringe players.

With that in mind, here are the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.

Giroud to join Ozil at Fenerbahce?

According to a report from Turkish outlet Fanatik, Fenerbahce are interested in signing Olivier Giroud, whose current contract with Chelsea is due to expire at the end of the season.

The report claims that Mesut Ozil, who played alongside Giroud at Arsenal, will attempt to persuade the veteran forward to make the move to Turkey.

Chelsea are among a number of clubs that have been linked with a move for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
