Channing Tatum shared a rare snap of his daughter Everly on Thursday and melted hearts everywhere.
The Magic Mike star took to Instagram to dedicate a heartwarming post to his eight-year-old daughter he called his “world”.
Channing, 41, shares daughter Everly with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, who he split from in 2019 after 10 years of marriage.
And in his sweet post – the first time he has shown his daughter’s face on his page – the star gushed: “You my littles are everything.
“You are my world and my heart. You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water and looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids.”
The She’s the Man actor continued: “You said you touched a bald headed mermaid and saw a tail. Haha one day you will read this and I hope laugh. We have fun.”
The image showed Channing beaming as he hugged his daughter while the sun set on the beach with the calmness of the ocean behind them.
The rare glimpse into his life as a father sent social media users wild.
Fans and famous faces alike were quick to jump on the post the share their admiration for the star who has also produced a children’s book called The One And Only Sparkella which was inspired by his daughter.
Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin commented: “The most special girl.”
And YouTuber La Demi wrote: “Definition of a father figure.”
Fans were also quick to comment on the rarity of the star posting such intimate photos in his private life.
One wrote: “FINALLY WE GET TO SEE THIS SWEET PRINCESS’ FACE.”
Another penned: “It is so amazing to see the father’s love you have for this precious child. As an older gal now whose father never showed that warmth, it makes my heart happy to know there are “good ones” out there.”
Channing’s bond with his daughter has been shared in the past, with the star showcasing his pride in previous posts.
In April fans were left in hysterics as his daughter gave him an incredible blindfolded makeover.
The star posted the outcome on his Instagram and he looked almost unrecognisable with his face full of ‘slap’ and pink lipstick smeared across his mouth and chin while neon pink blush was also smeared into his cheeks.
The Hateful Eight actor is currently working on the Lost City of D, which is a story about an author who discovers that a supposedly fictional city she had written about is actually real.
