Heavy D is suspected to have died of a heart attack.

The 43-year-old – best known for his appearances on Celebrity Big Brother and Storage Hunters – was found dead on Wednesday morning at his north London home by one of his brothers.

According to friends, the star’s suspected cause of death is a heart attack.

Heavy D, real name Colin Newell, had not been in contact with anybody since November 14, after he visited friend Lorna Onabanjo in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

Lorna said that his family had been concerned as they had been unable to contact him, telling the Mail Online: ‘He usually saturates social media but there had been nothing for days.

‘Some of his brothers went around to his home in North London and they saw his body through a window on the kitchen floor.

‘At the moment it’s suspected he died of a heart attack but we won’t know until after a post mortem.’

Heavy D had shared numerous Instagram posts on November 14, sharing with fans that Lorna had advised him to sign up to dating apps.

He wrote: ‘My friend Lorna is trying to convince me to go on a dating app Is this a good idea? Let me know people..’

The larger-than-life reality star also discussed that night’s fight between Kell Brook and Terence Crawford.

Following the news of Heavy D’s sad death, his former CBB housemates shared tributes on social media.

Stephen Bear, who won the 2016 series Heavy D starred on, wrote on Instagram: ‘I’m gutted . The funniest and most genuine person you would ever meet . Always laughing and had such a kind heart . Always wanted to make sure everyone was ok and when you was down he would come over make sure your ok.
