The series by US artist Trina Merry, 38, is called Lust of Currency. She says: “It’s a distinctly human experience.”
Each piece has been named after the original painting’s auction price – with Pablo Picasso’s Le Reve named ‘$155,000,000’ and Jackson Pollock’s painting No. 5, 1948 titled ‘140,000,000’.
