The judge on the US show, 64, has suggested that the Duchess of Sussex should appear on the celebrity dancing series to improve her image in the US.
Bruno told Extra’s Terri Seymour that “She’d be great!” when discussing the Duchess being on the entertainment show.
He said of the impact it would have on Meghan’s image: “It’d make her look accessible and funny. It’d be brilliant.
“Meghan, if you’re watching this, please, we’d love you to do it!”
Dancing with the Stars is filmed in Los Angeles, California, where Meghan and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex have now made a new home following their stepping down from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family.
Naturally, this would make appearing on the show relatively easy – apart from the fact that the Sussexes appear to be seeking more privacy from their move to the US.
Meanwhile, Bruno remains convinced that the fifteenth anniversary season of the dancing series will still air later this year in the US, despite the current coronavirus pandemic.
“If you can recreate the sense of excitement, I’m sure it’s possible,” he concluded.
Meghan and Harry already have a lot on their hands, however, as they are reportedly looking at private schools in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles for their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
A source said: “Meghan wants to send Archie to a diverse and socially integrated pre-school.
“She has been in touch with schools and started to make plans.
“For her the big thing is that she doesn’t want Archie to attend a posh private school and wants it to be as diverse as possible.”
Meghan herself previously attended Los Angeles’ Immaculate Heart High, a private Catholic girls’ school, while Harry was educated at a number of independent schools.
The Duke of Sussex broke with the then royal tradition of sending boys of the family to Gordonstoun in Scotland and instead was educated at Eton College in Windsor.
