Bruce Buffer names three UFC stars he is most excited about – and Conor McGregor knows one well

Bruce Buffer has named Conor McGregor’s long-term foe Nate Diaz as one of the fighters who excites him most in the UFC today.

Fans around the world are desperate to see Diaz and McGregor complete their triology of fights, having won one each earlier this decade.

Diaz returned to the cage earlier this summer as he defeated Anthony Pettis in his first fight since his points defeat to McGregor in August 2016.

But Buffer, the iconic voice of the Octagon, believes that the rejuvenated Diaz is one of the most exciting fighters on the scene.

Diaz’s next fight will headline UFC 244 – and he will take on Jorge Masvidal, who also sits as one of Buffer’s three favourite fighters right now.

Masvidal has two emphatic wins from his last two fights

Masvidal defeated Darren Till earlier this year before finishing Ben Askren in just five seconds with a brutal flying knee for the quickest knockout in the history of the UFC.

Beyond those two, Buffer also believes that the No.1 middleweight contender Israel Adesanya is one of the biggest talents in the UFC today.

Unbeaten Adesanya challenges Robert Whittaker to become world champion at UFC 243 on October 6 in Melbourne, Australia.
