Jason Alexander has no doubt that Britney Spears getting engaged to Sam Asghari is not for real and is more of a publicity stunt at the end of her conservatorship
Britney Spears’ first husband, Jason Alexander, has claimed that her engagement to Sam Asghari is a fake.
The 39-year-old, who was married to pop star Britney for just 55 hours in 2014, has said that he still speaks to his ex-wife and that her and Sam have not taken the big step in their relationship just yet.
Britney, 39, teased that she had agreed to marry her longtime boyfriend Sam, 27, after her father Jamie filed documents with court to bring her conservatorship to an end.
She had claimed in an explosive testimony to court previously that the strict conditions imposed by the conservatorship had banned her from getting married again or having any more children.

Jason has spoken out about Britney’s relationship during an interview with Inside Edition, which is set to air on Tuesday evening in the United States.
In a preview clip ahead of the show being broadcast, Jason poured doubt on the validity of the engagement, saying: “If it’s real, it’s awesome.”
When asked by the show’s presenter, Jim Moret: “You don’t think it’s real?”, Jason simply answered: “No.”
Jason went on to say that he regularly speaks to Britney and has advised her during the ongoing conservatorship.
He went on to say that they are so much in touch with each other, that before appearing on Inside Edition, he had spoken to the Grammy-winning singer “on the way over here.”
Jason said: “She’s great. She’s good, she’s mentally stable, she’s fine.”
He was then challenged to call up his ex-wife during the interview, but Jason refused to and said that she “can’t talk”.

Britney had showed off her engagement ring on Instagram on September 12, declaring in the caption: “I can’t f****** believe it!!!”
The singer then deleted her social media accounts, as she takes a break from them.
When asked about Sam and his influence on Britney, Jason said: “I’m trying to be as nice as I can.
“He’s really the only person that’s been around for a few years, so without him she would’ve been alone.
“I’ve always loved her. I’m always going to love her. If she’s happy with Sam and that’s going to happen, I’m happy for her.”
