Brexit times IN FULL: What time is EU summit today? When will Boris arrive in Brussels?

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been undertaking frantic negotiations with the EU to try hammer out a Brexit deal before Thursday’s summit begins. But on Wednesday, it became clear this would not be achieved, with both the EU and Northern Ireland’s DUP unhappy with the progress.

Timetable for EU Summit today

(All times local to Brussels, one hour ahead of BST)

– 1.30pm (12.30pm BST): Arrivals – Boris Johnson and the EU27 arrive at the European Council building in Brussels.

Mr Johnson is expected to address leaders shortly after his arrival.

– 3.30pm (2.30pm BST): Roundtable begins. Details agenda still TBC, but Brexit will be at the heart of it all.

However an EU source has said there will be no negotiations today, so it’s likely to be a discussion on future timelines.

– Time TBC: Press conference.
