BREAKING: Former Niger Delta militants protest non-payment of allowances

SCORES of former Niger Delta militants have protested the alleged non-payment of their allowances by the Presidential Amnesty Office.

The ex-fighters, who are undergoing training in manufacturing and repairs of electric transformers, said they had not been paid their allowances since August.

The placard-carrying protesters were at the Presidential Amnesty Office in Port Harcourt at 10am on Monday, chanting war and solidarity songs.
