A LITTLE boy has died after a homemade igloo collapsed on him after he spent “days” building it with his dad.
The seven-year-old’s father managed to pull the child out of the snow with the help of onlookers 15 minutes after the structure came crashing down.
The distraught parent, who was also buried in the collapse, desperately tried to resuscitate the boy who was eventually airlifted to hospital in Chur, Switzerland,
According to 20 Min, medics were unable to save the child who died of his injures.
It is unclear what his cause of death was or if his father sustained any injuries.
The igloo collapsed at 11am yesterday after the father and son had spent “days” building it together.
BaZ reports that the public prosecutor’s office is investigating the accident.
