Liverpool are interested in Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham, but the German club do not want to let him go for anything less than €120m (£101m).

The 18-year-old, who doesn’t turn 19 until next June, is continuing his incredible development at Dortmund, starting all nine Bundesliga matches and all three Champions League games so far this season.

The central midfielder has already racked up 60 games for Dortmund, in all competitions, picking up eight caps for England along the way as well.

Unsurprisingly, Premier League giants are keen to bring the Birmingham boy back to England and Liverpool are reportedly showing the most interest.

German publication Bild report that Liverpool are keen to snap up Bellingham, but Dortmund would want €120m (£101m) for him. Whether the Reds would be willing to pay that sum is unclear, but it would certainly be an enormous outlay for them and smash the £75m record signing of Virgil van Dijk.

Dortmund are under no pressure to sell with Bellingham under contract until 2025 and they are working on ways to keep the England international in Germany.

The Bundesliga outfit are now trying to bring Bellingham’s younger brother Jobe to the club, which would hopefully encourage the older sibling to stay.

16-year-old Jobe is yet to make his debut for Birmingham City, but has impressed at youth level and the winger could make the same journey from the Championship to the German top flight as his brother.

Playing regularly and with Dortmund second in the Bundesliga and their Champions League group, Bellingham will be in no rush to leave, nor would a club be likely to make a move for him until next summer’s transfer window.
